Itinerary

After picking you up at your hotel we head to Punta Ruica, a small fisherman village with snow-white beaches, bars, restaurants, small hotels and lodges.

Our first stop is at a national park, where the endangered manatees have their retreat area. At the ranger station we get detailed information about this peaceful mammals. Watching a manatee skeleton you can just guess the huge size of the up to 3090 pound heavy animals. From here it is just an 15 minutes drive to our boat.

After an adventurous ride of about 30 minutes we arrive at Paradise Island where you can decide if you like to snorkel at the coral reefs and watch the colorful Caribbean world of coral fishes or neither just relax and enjoy the fresh ocean breeze. As we arrive on the afternoon to the Island the big tourist groups are already on their way back, and we have the sandbank as good as for ourselves.

Getting on our boat again, we drive through the mangrove swamps, where with some luck, pelicans can be watched during fishing

At the end of this adventurous trip, we enter a beach restaurant, to enjoy a typical, delicious Dominican lunch. Then we head back to your hotels, which we reach between 6 and 7 clock.
